Reducing the consequences of an accident
One of the most important things for a driver in crash situation is to minimize casualties. Head-on collisions are always destructive. To avoid a head-on collision, it is often best for the driver to evade to a road verge or off the road.
If a hazardous situation leads to a crash the passive safety equipment can save lives. The most important safety equipment is safety belt. Correct driving position improves the driver's ability to act in emergency and reduces the risk to be injured when the airbag goes off.
